Technical Project Manager

6+ Month Rolling Contract | Hybrid | Co. Clare Region

I'm working with a leading organisation undertaking a significant technology programme and I am seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of complex technical initiatives. Must have solid experience in Product Management also.

Excellent day rate available.

Strong product development experience in the Hardware / Firmware space would be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, operations, quality, and business functions
• Drive project delivery from initial planning through execution and implementation
• Manage timelines, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, and governance activities
• Coordinate internal teams and external delivery partners to achieve project objectives
• Ensure adherence to established processes, quality standards, and compliance requirements
• Provide regular reporting and project updates to senior stakeholders and leadership teams
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery and operational processes

Experience Required

• 8+ years' experience managing complex technical or engineering-focused projects
• Proven track record delivering large-scale programmes in highly regulated or technical environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience managing third-party suppliers and external delivery partners
• Degree-qualified in Engineering, Science, Technology, or a related discipline
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification desirable
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies is beneficial
